Officer Education
The Road is organized and implemented by undergraduate members of the chapter. Several officers play an important role with the program – director of member development/Road chair, director of recruitment, new member educator, Guide and director of academic affairs. These men work together and make up the Road committee. To be successful, the Road Committee members need to take time to learn about the program, develop a plan of action and meet regularly to strategize programming.
Learning about The Road:
The Journey to Excellence is quick and easy for all officers, but especially for the Road committee. The Fraternity has developed five e-courses you can complete at your own pace and without having to travel to a conference. These five courses help you learn about the program, develop an action plan and get ready for the semester.
Resources for The Road
Life-long learning and the education of youth are fundamental principles of Delta Tau Delta, but what does that really mean? As members of Delta Tau Delta, we believe education occurs inside and outside the classroom. Without the right tools and resources, that is not possibly. This page is a hub for officer manuals and other resources for undergraduates to become well-rounded Fraternity men.
Gathering of Delts:
After completing The Path to Lead, chapter officers are encouraged to attend their division conference. Division conferences occur every January or February. This gathering of Delts from your division will provide a chance to learn more about The Road and hear success stories from other chapters.
